UFC 91 "Couture VS Lesnar"

Well, it's finally that time of the month to start getting excited about the next UFC card. Personally I'm excited about the card but I dislike the UFC's decision on giving Brock Lesnar a title shot when he hasn't even earned it yet. Yes people say that he's the future of the heavy weight division, but I feel in all fairness you reach the top by starting from the bottom. There are so many other people who deserves that title shot like Antonio "Minotauro" Nogueira, but Dana White (UFC Chairman) knows that this fight will sell, and people will watch it because it's "Brock Lesnar" WWE champion. In the end it's all about the money, which sucks to the people that deserve better. Overall this fight is going to be very exciting because you've got the champ with excellent technique/experience going against a complete muscle shark. Brock Lesnar is definitely a beast when it comes to his strength and size, but he has no submission game.  The way that I see this fight happening is that Brock will try to take Randy to the ground and keep him in position while doing the ground and pound. In the end, Randy will end up submitting him once he sees an opening.  Hopefully Randy Couture can be able to either knock him out or submit Lesnar, but to me, this fight is a complete coin flip. Sometimes, with the strength that Brock has, muscle "can" overcome technique. Randy says that this match will go 5 rounds because he's going to try to stand up with Brock the whole way, but we will see on November 15.
Thanks for reading!

Next Post- I'll be putting up my rendition of Jurassic Park. The final mix is almost ready, just making some finishing touches. If any of you have questions on Pro Tools, leave me a comment I'll help you as best as I can.

Beautiful on the outside but how about inside?

I took this picture during my mission trip to Uganda back in 2007. This is a picture of my beautiful teammate Christine and she was in one of the skits that we performed called "King Of Hearts". I look back in my life realizing how many different masks I wore in my life. I tried to look so good on the outside, that it was crushing me on the inside. Wearing a mask takes so much work that isn't worth working for. I say this because as you wear your different masks, you work by digging yourself a hole so deep that you can't even get out. You work so hard to be that perfect person in the eyes of others, but in the end, you fail. I've dug that hole so deep that it was impossible to get out by myself. I cried for help, but i felt like the boy who cried wolf. One person did come to my rescue and that was Jesus. Jesus was the only one at the top waiting for me to stop digging this pointless hole. Once I stopped digging his hand was there to pull me out. His hand was there when there was no hole, but he patiently waited for his child to come back to him. He pulled me out and because of him my life has been completely restored.
Again, if you have any questions, comments, or prayers, feel free to leave them in the comments box. Sorry I wrote so much, but I just wanted to bless you guys.
Thats it for today! (I Promise) Have a blessed day and Jesus Loves You!

He will rescue the poor when they cry to him;
he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them.
He feels pity for the weak and the needy,
and he will rescue them.
He will redeem them from oppression and violence,
for their lives are precious to him

Halloween Post

So today is Halloween. A day where people dress up into different characters and receive candy by going "trick or treating" door to door in the local neighborhoods. Personally, I'm not a fan of Halloween because I hate dressing up and going door to door. I hope all that goes out trick or treating be safe, and receives lots of candy so you guys can have fun all night with the sugar rushes, and laughter. I don't really like Halloween but I do enjoy candy very much. It's bad but I can't stop eating M&M's with peanuts. I can go through one of those big bags in a day. Thats my two cents on Halloween. Sorry that I'm able to write something a little more exciting about Halloween.
I am currently writing right now from my desk at work. I was going through some Youtube videos during my lunch break and found a song that I heard a long time ago but didn't know the title. If you guys know a band called the "Desperation Band", they sing this song called "Rescue". I really love this song because it proclaims that God is the only source of life, and that there is nothing in this world can offer what He offers. It's definitely a great song to play after sharing the gospel with someone. I'm planning to purchase one of their albums and I'll give you some feedback on it once I get it. I did some research on the band, and they are kind of like the Hillsong United of the USA. They are a huge praise band thats originated from a church called New Life in Colorado. They do many conferences and praise nights. If you want to check them out their website is "www.Newlifechurch.org". You guys should definitely check it out, incase they come to your neighborhood or something.
Some personal details of my life, I'm almost done with my first project for a Pro Tools class that I'm currently taking. My focus is primarily music recording/production, but this project was primarily focused on post-production. I'm finishing up my rendition of Jurassic Park, so once it is finished, I'll have it up on this site so you guys can critique it.
Thanks for reading! The lyrics for that song will be at the bottom. Just another side note, I pray that throughout the blogging community, we can encourage each other to be followers of Jesus. If you need prayer, guidance, or anything, leave me a comment, and I'll respond soon! That is all for now. Have a blessed day! Jesus Loves You!

Rescue
-Desperation Band

You are the source of the life
I can’t be left behind
No one else will do
I will take hold of You

I need You Jesus
To come to my rescue
Where else can I go
There’s no other name by
Which I am saved
Capture me with grace
I will follow You

This world has nothing for me
I will follow You
This world has nothing for me
I will follow You

1st Post!

I have decided to start blogging again and decided to join Blogger. I've been on Xanga pretty much my whole life, but maybe with this I can meet some cool new people. Just a little bit of myself, I am a Korean American that loves Jesus, music, and MMA. I hope with this blog I can provide you with info on music, MMA, Jesus, or anything that comes from my learnings/experiences.

To start off this Blog, I wanted to write my first post on music. When I do my devotional or "QT's" (some may call), I always like to put on some music, cause it helps me focus. I think my favorite artist of all times is Vicky Beeching. I really enjoy her songs because they are very biblical, and soothing.  I can tell that with her music, she really writes to completely give everything back to Jesus. In one of her interviews on Youtube, she says -

"My desire is to play music that creates an atmosphere where people can come to encounter God."  -Vicky Beeching

As a worship leader myself, I really respect Vicky for who she is, and what she strives to do with her music. In one of her past videos, she is showing her home studio and in the end, she asked for prayer that she would write great songs so that it will lead people in to getting closer with Jesus. So yea we should be praying for her, and all the other great worship leaders out there that they would write great songs that will lead people into worship.
I just wanted to end this post by putting some lyrics of Vicky's song "Above All Else". This song really inspires me the most, and it has helped me get through some of the hardest parts of my life. It really has helped my get closer to Jesus. Yea, so may you be blessed, Jesus Loves You!, and until next time!

Above All Else
-Vicky Beeching

Jesus, my passion in life is to know You
May all other goals bow down toThis journey of loving You more
Jesus, You’ve showered Your goodness on me
Given Your gifts so freely
But there’s one thing I’m longing for
Hear my heart’s cry
And my prayer for this life

Above all else
Above all else
Above all else
Give me Yourself

Savior, the more that I see Your beauty
The more that I glimpse Your glory
My heart is captured by You
Jesus, You are my greatest treasure
Nothing this world can offer
Could ever compare to You
So, hear my heart’s cry
And my prayer for this life
